Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor Process and Utility Systems (Well Surveillance).
  • Bottom Hole and Tubing Pressure Monitoring.
  • Flowline Pressure (Pressure Downstream of Topside Choke) Monitoring
  • Monitor process parameters (Level, Multi-Phase Flow Meter, temperature, Annulus pressure, Boarding Pressure, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume to identify problems.
  • Monitor electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety and emergency shutdown devices, Fire and Gas Systems.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by company and client.
  • Carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Monitor offshore production in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Witness/Track BSEE Testing, calibration, maintenance and inspection of equipment.
  • Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
  • Coordinate logistics for facility.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities
  • Good experience of Permit to Work, Instrument/Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
  • 5+ years of experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Production

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down Process and Utility Systems.
  • Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc.) within operating requirements.
  • Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.
  • Troubleshoot to maximize sales quality and delivery volume to identify problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operates, tests, maintains, repairs and maintains all required data on all safety shutdown systems and devices in accordance with BSEE regulations and approved facility permit safe chart. This includes such devices as control valves, actuators, sensors, pilots, pressures, and temperature or level controllers. In addition, mustmaintain facility safety equipment, which includes firefighting equipment, emergency supplies, survival capsules, navigational aids, and alarm systems in accordance with BSEE and USCG regulations.
  • Operation and maintenance of all rotating equipment such as compressors, generators, platform cranes, pumps, winches, etc. in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Monitor control panels, shutdown devices, liquid levels, flow rates, temperatures, etc. to keep them within the designed operating range.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and repair platform mechanical equipment according to applicable company requirements and OEM specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, reciprocating compressors, gas and diesel engines and generators and pumps.
  • Repair and replace seals and properly align shafts in various types of pumps including, but not limited to, centrifugal, water, chemical or crude oil pumps; submersible pumps and injection pumps.
  • Check and set mechanical clearances to comply with OEM specified tolerances using dial test indicators, feeler gauge micrometers, calipers, strain gauges, deflection gauge, etc.
  • Perform all preventative maintenance in accordance with applicable company procedures.
  • Record all maintained data in proper logs or maintenance records.
  • Monitor operating parameters on equipment; make adjustments, report unusual conditions to platform supervisor.
  • Communicate daily status/production reports

Education and Experience

  • 3 Years of Deepwater Experience
  • Should be familiar with Subsea Equipment
  • Organization skills to maintain platform

  • 2+ years' experience offshore and/or land Natural Gas Compressors

  • Test, calibrate, and document plant and compressor station control and safety devices per DOT 192, DOT 193, DOT 195or applicable PSM 1910 requirements and ensure frequencies of required preventative maintenance task are kept current
  • Participate in call out/on call requirements
  • Perform specialized technical i.e., develops complex design projects, cost estimates, evaluates electrical systems, build and maintain ESD systems, maintain gas turbine or skid unit control systems)
  • Provide work direction, oversight, and inspect other work provided by third party contractors
  • Provide accurate written and electronic reporting

  • Subject to call-outs to respond to operational issues and emergencies after working hours, at night, and on weekends and holidays
  • Responsible for installation and repair of electrical, electronic and pneumatic components on compressor units, generator units, pump units, ignition systems and air fuel ration systems
  • Troubleshoot and make repairs on automatic valves, motor starters, Meg & test electrical motors, relay logic, pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, electrical control panels, generator control panels, generators and switchgears troubleshoot
  • Inspect existing panels to insure proper function and application
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical, pneumatic and mechanical devices using hand and power tools, electrical and electronic measuring and test devices, diagnostic equipment, vendor literature, technical manuals, blueprints and schematic diagrams
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair and reassemble equipment such as automatic valves, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, in order to restore to operation
  • Measure, cut, bend and install conduit, fittings and tubing as needed to install or repair equipment.
  • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wire, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures
  • Lock Out/Tag Out and test energy sources in order make equipment inoperable to enable safe work
  • Plan and coordinate work with other crafts while installing or replacing existing parts
  • Participate in JSA’s, behavioral based safety observations, and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years or more industry experience in instrumentation AND electrical fields

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer’s literature, diagrams or schematics
  • Read, understand and troubleshoot with or without of PID loop drawings
  • Test, maintain & Repair Nav-aid system
  • Must be able to test equipment, Meg & test Motors, Hook up high & low voltage connections
  • Hook up & test Transformers and troubleshoot on single & Three Phase Transformers
